LITTON RAIDED BY FBI : DEFENSE FILES SEIZED IN PROBE OF FINANCES.

``It was a surprise to us that they showed up this morning. They knocked on the door, we opened the door and they came in,'' said Litton spokesman Bob Knapp. ``My understanding is that they are looking for information of an administrative nature about contracts, the pricing of contracts and the costing of contracts.''

``We're cooperating with them totally,'' Knapp said.

One source said agents were looking for evidence of false billings in connection with defense contracts.
