The contract will not be affected by Litton's recent agreement to be acquired by Century City-based Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) is an aerospace and defense conglomerate that is the result of the 1994 purchase of Grumman by Northrop. Technical services being provided in the NIH contract include maintenance, infrastructure protection and software development.

Litton's Government Computer Patient Records program developed for the Defense Department is already on schedule, within budget and offers more functionality than originally required by the contract, the company said.
