Inc. has won a $57 million contract to assist the U.S. government in its foreign intelligence gathering efforts, the company announced Thursday. It is closely linked with industrialization. As societies modernize, the individual becomes increasingly important, gradually replacing the family, initiative.'' The Litton unit is based in McLean, Va. ``Trailblazer will quite literally blaze a trail in helping this customer transform its signals intelligence collection, processing, analysis and dissemination system,'' James H. Frey, Litton senior vice president, group executive of Litton Information Systems Group, and president of TASC, said in a statement. In October, Litton TASC announced it had won a $170 million contract with another U.S. government agency for related systems engineering and technical support. About 200 Litton employees with the proper security clearance will work on the project. Woodland Hills-based Litton's TASC unit has done intelligence work for 25 years. Litton is in the process of being acquired by Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) is an aerospace and defense conglomerate that is the result of the 1994 purchase of Grumman by Northrop.
