Keenan said CDs were sold to parents as well as people who read the Daily News article and came to the school to buy one. ``One grandmother bought four or five to send to her own grandchildren,'' Keenan said. ``People were coming in off the street - people we don't even know,'' Hanson said. ``It's been a wonderful experience for the kids, and it has certainly boosted patriotism of the kids at school. They really know the meaning of 'proud to be an American,''' Keenan said.
