LITTLE MISS SCV QUEENS GET ROYAL TREATMENT FOR SERVICE VOLUNTEERS HONORED WITH 'GIRLS' NIGHT OUT'.

 Queens were treated recently to an evening of fun and food at Maria's Italian Kitchen in Valencia.

The ``Girls' Night Out'' was hosted by the newly crowned Little Miss Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  2002, Marie Wise-Hawkins, and provided an opportunity for local Little Miss SCV Queens to socialize so·cial·ize

 and honor retiring Little Miss Santa Clarita Valley 2001, Alexis Ryan.

The Miss SCV Scholarship Program teaches local young ladies about many positive ways to be a good role model while representing their city, and the girls reminisced about their various community service experiences during their night out.

, and Alyssa Hall, Little Miss Castaic, both enjoyed helping out at Bella Via, the annual chalk art festival held at Valencia Town Center, while Stephanie Fenno, Little Miss Valencia, spent many hours at the New To You thrift store in Newhall, which benefits programs for victims of domestic violence.

Ashley Wright, Little Miss Saugus, Wise-Hawkins, and their big sister queens sold $100 raffle tickets at the Taste of the Town to benefit the Child & Family Center, and Amanda Stewart Amanda Stewart (born 1959) is a contemporary Australian poet and sound/performance artist.

Amanda Stewart began writing and performing poetry in the 70s and has since produce a wide array of sound, video and multimedia work.
, Little Miss Newhall, enjoyed helping the Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country,  Jaycees shop for school clothes for children of single parents.

Besides helping out at local community events and fund-raisers, the Little Miss SCV Queens represent the community at grand openings and holiday parades. Shelby Spalione, Little Miss Stevenson Ranch Stevenson Ranch, California (in the 91381 ZIP Code) is a Los Angeles County, USA, unincorporated community west of Santa Clarita a few miles south of Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park. The Stevenson Ranch fountain was redone in 2007. , proudly remembers how many hats the queens made at the Newhall Memorial Tree Lighting Ceremony and Festival, and Gia Hughes, Little Miss Canyon Country, looked back on the many grand openings she attended with Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce representatives.

All of the queens felt it was truly an honor to represent their communities this past year, and they look forward to the next two months of events before completing their reign.
