LINTAS:CAMPBELL-EWALD PROMOTES THREE KEY EXECUTIVES

 WARREN, Mich., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Peter A. Dow has been promoted to vice chairman, chief operating officer, Anthony J. Hopp to president and Michael J. Ryan to executive vice president, account director on the Chevrolet account, at advertising agency Lintas:Campbell-Ewald, according to Richard D. O'Connor, the agency's chairman and CEO. Hopp becomes the agency's eighth president in its 82-year history.
 "All three have proven their value and dedication to the agency and its clients over many years," O'Connor said. "These moves reflect their outstanding performance, and strengthen the agency's management team for the move into the future."
 Dow joined the agency in 1958. He worked for Young and Rubicam from 1966-68 and Chrysler Corporation from 1968-79 before rejoining Campbell- Ewald as executive vice president. He was named president of Campbell- Ewald in 1982.
 His recent responsibilities included development of Lintas:Campbell- Ewald's Los Angeles office which has grown to nearly 75 employees and $100 million in billings. In addition to overseeing the Los Angeles operations, Dow is in charge of finance and administration, strategic planning and research, and general accounts operations.

 Dow is a resident of Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., and is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
 Hopp has been with the agency since 1968. For the past 16 years, he has had senior management responsibility for the Chevrolet car group, truck group and regional marketing group. He was executive vice president, account director for the Chevrolet account since 1988.

 Hopp is a resident of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and is a graduate of Michigan State University.
 Ryan joined the agency in 1977 as an account management intern on the Chevrolet account. Most recently, he was senior vice president, group management supervisor for the Chevrolet truck group.

 Ryan is a resident of Troy, Mich., and is a graduate of Michigan State University.
 Lintas:Campbell-Ewald, which employs more than 800 people, is Michigan's oldest and largest advertising agency and is an operating unit of Lintas:Worldwide, which has 168 offices in 50 countries. Lintas:Worldwide is one of the world's 10 largest advertising agencies with billings in excess of $5 billion in 1992.
