Plans call for widening Lindero Canyon from two lanes to three lanes in each direction, from Via Colinas and Agoura Road, and upgrading the freeway on-ramp in anticipation of future growth.

``Every new developer since the early 1990s was asked to participate in the program,'' said Bob Theobald, Westlake Village's planning director. ``The intent of the program is to make major road improvements to accommodate future traffic patterns.''
