Antaplyan, Robert Linda had a pretty good game as host Burbank routed overmatched Hoover of Glendale 61-0 in a Pacific League game at John Burroughs High.

Linda accounted for 34 of Burbank's 61 points with a 56-yard punt return In American and Canadian football a punt return is one of the punt receiving team's options to respond to a punt. A player (usually a second or third string wide receiver or running back) positioned many yards from the line of scrimmage will attempt to catch or pick up the ball , touchdown runs of 22 and 17, touchdown passes for 58 and 41, and five extra points.

``I got over it,'' said Antaplyan who finished with four catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns.

Linda, who was pulled from quarterback with 40 seconds remaining in the first half, finished 3 of 5 for 112 yards, and Marcus Hood rushed for 109 yards on 9 carries and caught a 58-yard touchdown pass. But with a game like this, Burbank coach Greg Sobiech was concerned about things other than stats.

``We had a chance to look at some kids we don't normally get to,'' Sobiech said. ``We wanted to see who might contribute in the playoffs.''
