. is allowing the re-creation of four studio sets in a restaurant that will open in Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  in three weeks.

The WB Stage 16 eatery will open at the Venetian casino, which rolled out earlier this year, with a menu aimed at movie buffs and upscale diners. The facility will include backdrops based on soundstages for ``Gold Diggers Diggers, members of a small English religio-economic movement (fl. 1649–50), so called because they attempted to dig (i.e., cultivate) the wastelands. They were an offshoot of the more important group of Puritan extremists known as the Levelers.  of 1933,'' ``Casablanca,'' ``Ocean's 11'' and ``Batman.''

``The sets create a dramatic backdrop for an amazing dining experience,'' said John Baydale, director of operations for the restaurant, which will serve lobster and wild mushroom strudel (character) strudel - Common (spoken) name for the commercial at sign, "@", ASCII 64.  along with healthy doses of nostalgia.

The venture, under which the studio has licensed its logo to European sports/entertainment concern ENIC ENIC European Network of Information Centres

, gives Warner a low-risk opportunity to try out the dining concept at one of the most prominent new casinos in Las Vegas.

The restaurant is the first project to emerge from an alliance announced in April 1998 between the studio and ENIC, under which Warner sold an 80 percent interest in its 10 Warner Studio Stores in the United Kingdom.

The deal comes three months after Warner announced a joint marketing agreement with General Motors giving the automaker broad access to the studio's properties, leading to a GM minivan bearing WB and Bugs Bunny logos. It also said last week that it was considering closing down some of the under-performing locations among its 140 Studio Stores in the United States.

The ``Batman'' section will include sound and lighting effects; the ``Gold Diggers'' set will re-create the ``We're in the Money'' interior; the ``Casablanca'' set includes Rick's Cafe American; and the ``Ocean's 11'' component will offer a re-creation of the lounge of the Sands Hotel, which was blown up to make way for the Venetian.

Warner rival Walt Disney Co. experimented with a pair of themed fast-food outlets in the early 1990s that closed after a few years. Industry trackers believe its fledgling chain of themed ESPN ESPN Entertainment and Sports Programming Network  Zone restaurants has potential.
