LICENSING AND JOINT VENTURE AGREEMENT PENDING FOR RAND CAM/DIRECT CHARGE ENGINE

MORGANTOWN, W.Va., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Reg Technologies Inc. (Vancouver: RRE; OTC Bulletin Board: REGRF) is very pleased to announce that negotiations with a worldwide aerospace company are progressing well.
Reg Technologies and the "Fortune 500" company are negotiating a joint development license agreement for the purpose of developing the "Rand Cam/Direct Charge" engine primarily for defense applications.
This major defense contractor is involved in aerospace work and military work for the Department of Defense in the United States.
Details of this agreement will be announced when the joint venture development and license agreement have been finalized.
 PROGRESS REPORT ON ENGINE DEVELOPMENT
The Centre for Industrial Research Applications at the University of West Virginia has been focusing the ongoing development of the engine in two areas 1.) continuing testing of the first prototype and 2.) incorporating these results into the second prototype.
The first prototype has been studied extensively to improve wear, sealing and combustion characteristics and manufacturing limitations.
The first prototype is also being equipped with pressure transducers inserted into one of the stator halves to determine the pressure-volume relationships during the compression to the expansion processes. This work will not only document the sealing efforts but will provide some invaluable data on the overall combustion process for the engine.
In regard to the second prototype, the rotor and stator have been finalized and the raw materials acquired. The final seal and combustion chamber design are on track and targeted for completion this month.
