Paine, features a portrait of President Reagan painted by artist Michael Deas. It is based on a 1981 photograph of Reagan taken by White House photographer Jack Kightlinger. The Reagan Library will open its doors at 9 a.m. Wednesday to begin selling the stamp. U.S. postal employees will be on hand to officially cancel the stamps. Collectors are expected to pack the Simi Valley post offices and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley on Wednesday to obtain the first-day cancellations. Because of limited parking space near the library, complimentary shuttles will be running along Presidential Drive. Officials urged people to arrive early and plan plenty of time for parking.
