LI Real Estate Group donates to Ronald McDonald House.


The Long Island Real Estate Group, a philanthropic and networking organization comprised of leading executives in the real estate industry and allied trades, has contributed $25,000 to Ronald McDonald House of Long Island in New Hyde Park New Hyde Park, village (1990 pop. 9,728), Nassau co., SE N.Y., on Long Island; inc. 1927. It is a residential community with some manufacturing and truck farms. Nearby is the uninc. town of North New Hyde Park (1990 pop. 14,359). . The funds have been earmarked for an expansion project.

The funds, raised through the Long Island Real Estate Group's two developer showcases in the past year, were presented last month at a meeting of the Long Island Real Estate Group at the Tam O'Shanter Tam O’Shanter

"Ronald McDonald House of Long Island is proud to have the support of LIREG," said Silvana LaFerlita Gullo, executive director of Ronald McDonald House.

"To commemorate their $25,000 contribution their name will be placed in the third floor sitting lounge forever expressing our appreciation for their support."

The Long Island Real Estate Group was formed in 2004. The group encourages networking among Long Island real estate developers, owners and allied trades. They also raise funds for charitable real estate-related projects on Long Island.
