LGP Allgon announces completion of Network Operation Center for the Americas.

LGP Allgon has announced it has concluded the development of its Network Operation Center (NOC) within its Fort Worth, Texas facility. It is already being utilized to support several LGP Allgon customer installations.

In addition to coverage engineering, planning and deployment service offerings, the deployment of a centrally located NOC allows LGP Allgon to assume responsibility for the day-to-day operation, management and support of client telecom networks. The NOC staff performs ongoing optimization, operations, maintenance and repair of critical network elements including antennas and base station equipment. This is supplemented with training for client's internal network operations and support staff.

"Combined with our knowledge of and experience with complex coverage and network deployments, this new NOC allows our management, engineers and technicians perform the functions of a local network management staff remotely while supporting personnel cost-effectively with higher quality, reliability and performance," said Magnus Friberg, general manager for LGP Allgon, The Americas.

The completed NOC offers network management and support including network optimization and tuning, network operations and maintenance services, post-deployment installation of network equipment, network management services (e.g. Network Operations Centers--NOCs), provisioning of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), performance management and competitive analysis, and quality management.
