LFC, Guardian Mortgage Documents integrate services.

Lenders First Choice (LFC), Simi Valley, California, announced it has formed a strategic relationship with Guardian Mortgage Documents (GMD), Lakewood, Colorado.

The two companies said they are developing a system integration to provide national mortgage lenders with one-stop access to LFC's title, closing, appraisal, flood and credit services and GMD's award-winning mortgage document solutions.

The integration will provide access to GMD's document solutions from within the LFC settlement services platform and enables users to add GMD documents to any LFC order with one click, according to Michael O'Leary, president of Guardian Mortgage Documents.

"Our integration with LFC is an easy way for lenders to immediately increase their overall transaction efficiencies. Lenders will be able to select GMD document production from a drop-down menu from within LFC's systems to draw documents," said O'Leary. "Given that document preparation and closings are so co-dependent, the integration will dramatically increase the speed of closing and reduction in overall errors."

Because LFC provides a paperless environment accompanied by workflow management, the integration will not add any processing time, will result in more timely deliveries of all items related to a transaction and will eliminate training issues when introducing a customer to the GMD solution, explained Bill Moody, president of Lenders First Choice.

"Our relentless search for new ways to make life easy for lenders revealed a glaring need in the mortgage marketplace for a one-stop provider of high-quality closing services and world-class document solutions," said Moody. "This integration with Guardian Mortgage Documents meets that need, and will result in faster closings while minimizing the chance of human error and providing the highest service levels in the industry," he says.
