and Transaction Performance

Objectivity, Inc., the leading provider of distributed, scalable object databases, today announced that Objectivity/DB has been deployed at LEXIS-NEXIS. The Objectivity-based service allows legal, business and government professionals to perform customized searches of the LEXIS(R)-NEXIS(R) data warehouse via their web browser The program that serves as your front end to the Web on the Internet. In order to view a site, you type its address (URL) into the browser's Location field; for example, www.computerlanguage.com, and the home page of that site is downloaded to you.  and custom LEXIS-NEXIS session managers.

Objectivity/DB is key to the LEXIS-NEXIS research application which provides access to billions of documents, for thousands of concurrent users In computer science, the number of concurrent users for a resource in a location, with the location being a computing network or a single computer, refers to the total number of people using the resource at the same time. , performing hundreds of thousands of transactions per day.
