Airport Delays

I DISAGREE WITH Verb 1. disagree with - not be very easily digestible; "Spicy food disagrees with some people"
hurt - give trouble or pain to; "This exercise will hurt your back"
YOUR DEPICTION OF THE Ezeiza International airport in Buenos Aires Buenos Aires (bwā`nəs ī`rēz, âr`ēz, Span. bwā`nōs ī`rās), city and federal district (1991 pop.  in "Wagering on the Weather" in the July 2000 issue. First of all, the airports in Argentina List of airports in Argentina, sorted by location.

Azul Buenos Aires SAZA Azul Airport
Bahía Blanca Buenos Aires SAZB BHI Comandante Espora Airport
are in private hands and have greatly improved in quality, efficiency and service. I would place Ezeiza on par with any international airport in the region or in Europe.

I do consider the airport tax of US$35 to be excessive, seeing that a round trip ticket from Buenos Aires to Santiago can go for around $107 with the airport tax constituting 30% of the ticket value.

As a businessman, I use the airport two to three times a month and I want the region's business community to know that they will arrive to Buenos Aires without a problem and we will welcome them from the moment they step foot in our airport.

Fast Cash

THE LATIN TRADE Latin Trade is a monthly magazine covering global business in Latin America and the Caribbean. Similar to Forbes and Fortune Magazine in coverage, the magazine was founded in 1993 and now publishes 87,000 copies 1 each month in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.  TIPS IN THE MAY 2000 issue on how to get rich on the Internet without getting arrested contained totally foolish advice. Your suggestion of registering the online names of famous companies and then shaking them down for cash when they arrive to a given country is nothing less than piracy.

It seems completely out of character for a publication of LATIN TRADE'S caliber to give this kind of legally dubious advice. Your readers should be aware that in the current context of the World Trade Organization, such activity can have terrible consequences on a country especially if it permits or tolerates such piracy.

Thunderbird thunderbird

In North American Indian mythology, a powerful spirit in the form of a bird that watered the earth and made vegetation grow. Lightning was believed to flash from its eyes or beak, and the beating of its wings was thought to represent rolling thunder.
 Omission

I NOTICED IN YOUR ARTICLE "B-SCHOOL Rules" (August 2000) that Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management, was not included. Thunderbird offers a master's degree in International Management and has ranked No. 1 in international business programs in US. World & News Report for the last five years.

I wager that you will find no better worldwide networking than "T-birds," as we call ourselves. From the marketing manager for Latin America of Gerber baby products to the Colombian ambassador to the United States, Thunderbird alumni penetrate world markets.
