LETTERS TRUE PEACE SYMBOL HAS SATANIC CONNOTATIONS.

``Pledge of Peace,'' ``Increase the Peace Day'' and ``Celebration of Diversity'' are varied slogans most people would probably agree, on its face value, to be positive and productive for mankind and society.

At a recent Antelope Valley celebration of Increase the Peace Day and its basic purpose was the prime motivation to stop hate and violence and promote teen tolerance, so let us look at the details.

Today's so-called ``peace'' sign or symbol, which originated in ancient usage, became a symbol of death when the extended arms of the cross were turned down.

Various names such as Nero's cross, crow's foot, witch's foot or goblin foot have been used as an insignia of Satan throughout the course of history. Numerous documentation and writings of authors confirm satanic connotations of the vicious and evil ``peace'' symbol.

The ``peace'' symbol superimposed with the flag has become known as the flag of anarchy and Antichrist in many forms of displays to deceive the average individual.

Our recent local Antelope Valley rally for ``peace'' was even promoted and encouraged by our local politicians with the use of the ``peace'' symbol on T-shirts and the formation of a so-called human ``peace'' sign. This is an outrage of our local leadership.

Those political figures present at the rally were: U.S. Rep.Howard P. ``Buck'' McKeon, Assemblyman George Runner and the Rev. Henry Hearns, vice mayor of Lancaster. They must be denounced for their re-election at the polls in 2002.

We must carefully examine the proclamation of the ``peace'' symbol and its true meaning. Peace symbol-wearing groups have been among the most violent and negative we have experienced in our precious free society.

It is not a symbol of peace but a devious and vicious alternative to the cross of Christ and a massive deception for our young people, community and the greatness and character of America.

What's really been done to state's ratepayers

Take a little time and think about this, OK?:If one California oil company's first-quarter earnings rose to $5.05 billion this year and another California oil company's earnings increased 50 percent last year, and if you really understand what our state government has done to our power companies and our underground water supply (by failing to do a good job of testing our water wells), is it not easy to understand why more and more Californians (both male and female) are beginning to feel pregnant as time goes on?
