Unlike The New Mexican's Dec. 15 photograph and caption would indicate, Las Posadas is not merely a tradition of devils pouncing on rooftops in the Plaza shouting and singing out rude comments to onlookers (to include tourists). It is unfortunate that this image was all that was depicted in your newspaper, rather than a story reflecting the true meaning. It was insulting to the "pilgrims" who traveled from the various churches.
