LETTERS TO L.A. LIFE WE DON'T ALL MARCH TO BLACKWELL'S TUNE.

Dear L.A. Life: I think someone better tell Mr. Blackwell (``Cher and Cher alike: Dion, Diaz hit list of worst-dressed women,'' L.A. Life, Jan. 12) that 95 percent of us do shop at Kmart, Target, Sears or Macy's.

I don't watch Martha Stewart <noinclude></noinclude>

Martha Stewart (born Martha Helen Kostyra on August 3, 1941) is an American business magnate, author, editor and homemaking advocate. She is also a former stockbroker and fashion model.
(who's also on Blackwell's list) very often, but I do dress like her. I'm supposed to wear pearls and diamonds while I shop and do laundry? Tell Mr. Blackwell to get into the real world.

NEW COMICS DON'T CUT THE MUSTARD

Dear L.A. Life: I've held off writing to express my opinions on the new comics that you're running to give them a fair chance to win my favor. Unfortunately, they didn't. I don't like or intend to continue reading them - with the possible exception of ``Six Chix Six Chix is a collaborative comic strip that debuted in January 2000 and is now syndicated in over 120 newspapers. It is drawn by six women (hence the name). They rotate the drawing duties through the week based on a fixed schedule:
  • Mondays - Isabella Bannerman
.''

I did read ``Broom broom, common name for plants of two closely related and similar Old World genera, Cytisus and Genista, of the family Leguminosae (pulse family).  Hilda'' and ``That's Jake'' occasionally, but I don't really care that they're gone, so don't figure it's just sour grapes on my part.
