review of ``The Deep End'' (L.A. Life, Oct. 12) is yet another example of the protection and promotion of homosexuality by the media and entertainment industries. The review made no mention whatsoever of the homosexual theme of the movie or the fact that the ``strong sex scene'' was a strong homosexual sex scene.

I do not expect to always agree with a reviewer's opinion of a movie; however, I do expect that a reviewer re·view·er

I simply must take umbrage at Sunita Farrelly's letter (L.A. Life, Oct. 7) regarding Ann Landers' reply (Sept. 23) to the bride who wanted her in-law's gay lover excluded from her wedding. (Farrelly) resented anyone having a problem with homosexuality being referred to as ignorant and narrow-minded. Well, I have news for you - that IS being ignorant and narrow-minded. It's people like you that are the cause of a lot of the world's problems today. People are people, whether they are homosexual or heterosexual. There are many talented, brilliant and loving gays. The only problem is that you haven't been taught tolerance. Learn to live and let live, and love and let love, for heaven's sake.

Can someone, anyone, tell me why Bob Saget <noinclude></noinclude>

Robert Lane Saget (born May 17, 1956) is an American actor, stand-up comedian, writer, director, producer, and game show host. He is well known for his role as Danny Tanner in the ABC sitcom Full House
(L.A. Life, Oct. 5) continues to have a job in the entertainment field? This man is without any kind of noticeable talent; I am talking zero talent. The puzzler is: Why does he continue to get paid for something he cannot do? I have never seen this man do or say anything worth watching or listening to, and yet he keeps cropping up like so much rubbish. Has he ever made anyone laugh? It must destroy the really talented out there that never get the chance. Who in the heck heck
