LETTERS TO L.A. LIFE : FELL'S `NOT TONIGHT, HELEN' STILL SPARKS LAUGHTER TODAY.

I did not know Norman Fell personally, but I have many fond memories of watching this talented actor on ``Three's Company Three's Company is an American sitcom that ran from 1977 to 1984 on ABC. It is a remake of the British sitcom Man About the House. Description
Jack, Janet and Chrissy lived in apartment 201, directly above the landlord unit.
.'' I read that Mr. Fell (who died Dec. 14) was a bit disappointed that he was typecast because of his role on ``Three's Company,'' but if I had the opportunity I would have told him that he, along with the other cast members, provided me with many hours of laughter. And laughter is the best medicine.

I vividly remember 12 years ago having some bad days going through a divorce and turning on the TV to watch Stanley Roper Stanley Roper is the name of a fictional character from the sitcom Three's Company and its spinoff The Ropers.

In Three's Company, Stanley Roper owns and manages the apartment building in Santa Monica that is the home to Jack Tripper, Janet Wood

Pain in the upper portion of the head. Episodic tension headaches are the most common, usually causing mild to moderate pain on both sides. They result from sustained contraction of face and neck muscles, often due to fatigue, stress, or frustration.

I completely forgot about my troubles, my divorce and everything else that wasn't going right.

Now, 12 years later, I'll still pop in a videotape videotape

of ``Three's Company'' and even though I've seen the episode several times before, the medicine still works just as effectively as it did the first time.

Thanks a million, Norman.

Christmas spirit is alive and well here, thank you

I enjoyed the Rockettes at the Universal Amphitheatre. It is a terrific show despite the canned music.

I must take exception, however, to the opinion expressed by Rockette Kelli Coleman (an Oklahoma City Oklahoma City (1990 pop. 444,719), state capital, and seat of Oklahoma co., central Okla., on the North Canadian River; inc. 1890. The state's largest city, it is an important livestock market, a wholesale, distribution, industrial, and financial center, and a farm  girl, I believe) regarding the lack of holiday spirit she attributes to my city, Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  (Dec. 27, L.A Life).

The Christmas spirit is alive and well here in Los Angeles, 365 days of the year.

We are concerned about our young, our sick, our elderly and all citizens in need. Our concern takes the form of daily volunteering, donations and lending a hand to those who are struggling. We pray together, sing together and work together to make our city the best!

Citizens and leaders are striving daily to put a little beauty into our lives.

With or without the Rockettes, we had a very merry Christmas.
