My particular gripe gripe
To have sharp pains in the bowels.
1. gripes Sharp, spasmodic pains in the bowels.
2. A firm hold; a grasp. is that everyone must know that when Martha goes into her yard to plant a row of asparagus asparagus, perennial garden vegetable (Asparagus officinalis) of the family Liliaceae (lily family), native to the E Mediterranean area and now naturalized over much of the world. for her TV show, the moment the camera stops there is an army of gardeners to finish the job! Not to mention, her attitude is deplorable. She invites experts to her program who specialize in a variety of skills - and then she takes over and treats them deplorably.
Though Martha's early shows were somewhat entertaining, her more recent endeavors have been idiotic. Offerings have included ``How to Make a Bed'' and ``The Proper Method of Stacking Wood.'' I would think that Ms. Stewart should be grateful, regardless of what is being said, people are talking about her at all!
Your suggestions that ``imitation is the sincerest form of flattery'' should be well taken. `ER' needs a bigger berth than pricey `Titanic' film
It's incredible that in just one month, the movie ``Titanic'' has more than recouped its huge production cost of over $200 million. And it's wonderful.
But, believe it or not, ``Titanic'' is NOT the year's most expensive entertainment project. At $13 million per episode for 22 hourlong shows, NBC NBC
in full National Broadcasting Co.
Major U.S. commercial broadcasting company. It was formed in 1926 by RCA Corp., General Electric Co. (GE), and Westinghouse and was the first U.S. company to operate a broadcast network. will pay Time Warner Entertainment a whopping $286 million for the 1998-99 season of ``ER.''
