LETTERS SANTA EVENT HOLIDAY CUSTOM.

I just arrived home with my family after attending the Breakfast With Santa event at Lancaster City Park. What a wonderful event for children. We moved to Lancaster in October and have no family here.

We decided to take my 5-year-old daughter, Samantha, to this event. I was delighted with the warm breakfast at 7 a.m., all the free crafts for the children, the whole building decorated with areas for pictures, and she had a chance to sit and talk to Santa without rushing to the next child.

I really am impressed and understand how hard it is to create a winter wonderland, and then feed 500 people.

The parks department and all the people who worked the event really deserve a round of applause. This will be a holiday tradition for my family.
