USC An abbreviation for U.S. Code.  quarterback Matt Leinart continued to enjoy the fruits of the Trojans' Orange Bowl win and national championship, accepting the ESPY Award for Best Male College Athlete on Wednesday night at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

Leinart, the 2004 Heisman Trophy winner, received more votes in recent online polling than Utah basketball standout Andrew Bogut, Nebraska baseball player Alex Gordon, Oklahoma State wrestler Steve Mocco and Colorado College hockey star Marty Sertich.

Leinart, who threw five touchdowns in the Trojans' 55-19 win over Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl that clinched the team's second consecutive national title, also was nominated in the Best Championship Performance category won by Boston Red Sox The Boston Red Sox are a professional baseball team based in Boston, Massachusetts. The Red Sox are a member and currently champions of the Eastern Division of Major League Baseball’s American League. From to the present, the Red Sox have played in Fenway Park.  pitcher Curt Schilling for his 3-1 run in performance, including the World Series Game 2 win on a bad ankle.
