LED-based Brinell Scopes. (Metalcasting Supplies).Newage resting Instruments, Inc., has announced a series of HiLight Brinell Scopes that use built-in, high-efficiency light-emitting diodes (LED) to illuminate il·lu·mi·nate v. il·lu·mi·nat·ed, il·lu·mi·nat·ing, il·lu·mi·nates v.tr. 1. To provide or brighten with light. 2. To decorate or hang with lights. 3. Brinell impressions. The LED are fixed to shine downward at a much higher angle than a standard Brinell scope, providing even and consistent definition of the impression's edge.
