LEAD: Tokyo subway train stalls, forcing passengers to evacuate on foot.

A subway train on the Tokyo Metro Tokyo Metro (東京メトロ Tōkyō Metoro  Chiyoda Line stalled between Yoyogi Koen and Meiji Jingu-Mae stations due to traffic light trouble Tuesday morning, forcing about 150 passengers to evacuate on foot, the subway operator said.

Tokyo Metro said the traffic light trouble occurred at around 8:55 a.m., trapping the passengers inside the train bound for Yoyogi-Uehara from Abiko in Chiba Prefecture Chiba Prefecture (千葉県 Chiba-ken  for 50 minutes.

Tokyo Metro employees later advised the passengers to get off the train and guided them along the train tracks to Meiji Jingu-Mae, the nearest station, the subway operator said.

The Tokyo Fire Department said a 28-year-old woman fell ill inside the train and was taken to hospital.

Normal operations on the Chiyoda Line are still being hampered by the trouble, Tokyo Metro said.
