LDI Trade Show and ET Live 2007 Expand Focus on Professional Audio, Live Sound Production.

([R]), the largest trade show and conference for visual and sound technologies, will feature an expanded focus on professional audio and live sound production November 16-18, at the Orange County Convention Center The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is the primary public convention center in Central Florida. The large complex is located on International Drive, a major tourist area in Orlando, Florida.  in Orlando, Fla. LDI's ET Live's annual outdoor exhibits will offer live entertainment demonstrations of concert sound products in a real world performance stage environment. LDI, with more than 400 exhibiting companies and more than 85 educational seminars, will be attended by more than 11,000 lighting, sound, production and staging professionals actively involved in live entertainment industry. Open to all LDI trade show attendees, ET Live exhibits give professionals interested in purchasing concert sound systems and staging the opportunity to experience products without the limitations of an indoor environment, room size, reverberation reflections, frequency build-up and other factors.

ET Live's six loudspeaker sponsors will demo their line-array speakers, console manufacturers will set up at their FOH position (and monitors), staging companies will present multiple concert stage configurations (from 32'x32'up to 60'x40') and large screen monitors and lights will illuminate the performances.

Each stage will demonstrate play of the same pre-recorded track and then feature a live performance in a round-robin format at 25-minute intervals. Demonstrations will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Each stage will feature a performance twice daily on November 16 and 17, and once on November 18.

Presented by Syn-Aud-Con, "Sound Reinforcement for Operators" will take place November 12-13, followed by "Sound Reinforcement for Technicians" Nov 14-15. A full menu of live sound conference sessions on Nov. 12-16 will include "RF Spectrum Dilemma," "Line Array Design and Application" and "Working with a Sound Rental Shop A rental shop is a store where a consumer can hire reusable products for a certain period of time before returning them.
