LCPs Take Higher Heat.New Vectra T-Series liquid-crystal polymers from Ticona LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol. LLC - Logical Link Control , Summit, N.J., combine higher heat resistance than other Vectra grades with high flowability and superior melt thermal stability. The first grade in this family, Vectra T130, contains 30% glass. It has a melting point melting point, temperature at which a substance changes its state from solid to liquid. Under standard atmospheric pressure different pure crystalline solids will each melt at a different specific temperature; thus melting point is a characteristic of a substance and of 698 F(370 C) and HDT HDT Heat Deflection Temperature (plastics) HDT High Dose Therapy HDT Heatpipe Direct Touch (Xigmatek) HDT Heat Distortion Temperature (plastics) HDT Henry David Thoreau of 572 F (300 C) at 264 psi. It has mechanical and flow properties similar to an established commercial grade, Vectra E130I, which has somewhat lower heat resistance. What's more, Vectra T130 has improved melt stability. Vectra T130 is expected to satisfy the growing need for materials with higher heat resistance for use in surface-mount electronic products. Other versions of the T-Series LCPs will emphasize low warpage Warp´age n. 1. The act of warping; also, a charge per ton made on shipping in some harbors. and high stiffness. |
