four months ago accused law enforcement officials Thursday of stalling completion of their investigation.

The lengthy delay in getting blood sample testing results was a tactic being used by police and prosecutors to unfairly hold members of the motorcycle motorcycle, motor vehicle whose design is based on the bicycle. The German inventor Gottlieb Daimler is generally credited with building the first practical motorcycle in 1885. The motorcycle did not become dependable and popular, however, until after 1900.  group at bay without filing charges, attorney Moriya Christie said.

``We've been making court appearances since December 1999 (yet) none of these individuals has been charged,'' said Christie, the daughter of Hells Angels chapter President George Christie George Christie may refer to:

``My belief is that they are the only individuals who have been arrested for this because they are Hells Angels and they're always a big target for law enforcement. This was a very involved bar fight with many individuals participating.''

A Thursday arraignment A criminal proceeding at which the defendant is officially called before a court of competent jurisdiction, informed of the offense charged in the complaint, information, indictment, or other charging document, and asked to enter a plea of guilty, not guilty, or as otherwise permitted  was postponed until May 24 because the investigation was not complete.

The brawl at Nicholbys in Ventura on Dec. 18 left several patrons not associated with the Angels wounded, authorities said.

Ventura police Lt. Ken Corney denied claims that the Angels are specifically being targeted, adding that police went to Nicholby's after receiving a call for help.

``The people arrested went into a bar and assaulted people,'' said Corney, the gang violence suppression unit supervisor.

``Our goal is to hold people accountable for the violent acts that they perpetrate per·pe·trate

how that could be construed as an issue of somebody being targeted.''

Corney said lab test results have been delayed because there are more serious cases that are being handled first.

``Sophisticated lab tests are usually done on a priority basis based on the seriousness of the crime,'' he said. ``Homicides take priority over (alleged) felony felony (fĕl`ənē), any grave crime, in contrast to a misdemeanor, that is so declared in statute or was so considered in common law.  assaults. The Ventura County sheriff's lab is extremely busy.''

Prosecutor Scott Hendrickson would not discuss the case.

The six defendants remain free on bail ranging from $20,000 to $30,000 after having been arrested following the fight.

The Angels members are: George Christie III, 23, Sabian Reynoso, 23, Alex Webster, 21, and Vincent DeAlba III, 23, all of Oak View - as well as Brian Applegate, 25, and Edward Quintanilla, 45, both of Ventura. Webster is a ``prospect,'' or applicant to the Angels, Moriya Christie said.

Christie said she did not ask Judge Art Gutierrez to exonerate bail Thursday because she did not want to repeat the whole process if charges are filed and the defendants are rearrested.
