LAWSUIT AGAINST EXITO! DISMISSED

 CHICAGO, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- A lawsuit brought against Exito!, a new Spanish-language weekly in the Chicago market, has been dismissed by Judge George M. Marovich in U.S. District Court here, Tribune Company (NYSE: TRB) announced today.
 The voluntary dismissal was filed last week by the plaintiff, Hispanimedia of New York, which publishes Extra, a bilingual weekly in Chicago. The suit had charged trademark infringement among other allegations. Chicago Tribune Company has been granted the registered trademark of Exito! in Illinois, and another Tribune Company subsidiary has been using the trademark in Florida, where it is also registered.
 Exito! is scheduled to debut in Chicago on Sept. 16. "With Exito! we look forward to expanding publishing services for the growing Hispanic market here," publisher Mario Aranda said.
 Tribune is a leading information and entertainment company. It publishes six daily newspapers, operates seven television and six radio stations, produces and syndicates information and programming, publishes books and information in print and digital formats, and has an interest in one of Canada's largest newsprint manufacturers.
