LAWSON SOFTWARE RELEASES IJOB 4.0 E-RECRUITING SOLUTION.


Lawson Software (Lawson Software, St. Paul, MN, www.lawson.com) A software company that specializes in ERP for vertical markets including health care, retail, public sector, professional and financial services. , has released ijob version 4.0, Lawson's Web-based recruitment management service that improves relationships, information and speed throughout the hiring process. Lawson's ijob is offered via a hosted outsourcing model giving customers an intelligent, self-evident solution that includes automatic release upgrades within 30 days of release delivery.

ijob version 4.0 greatly expands its candidate relationship management functionality, giving customers the ability to track and view all interactions with every candidate. The 4.0 release of ijob also advances the e-recruitment service's job site publishing, reporting and administrative functions. Specific enhancements to ijob in the new release include:

-- Ability to initiate interview requests and order background checks.

-- Unlimited cost information tracking for all activities associated with the hiring process.

-- Customized e-mail notification of recruiters for both active and passive candidates.

-- Better integration of action-requiring activities; for example, automatic recruiter-specific communications with candidates.

-- Dynamic creation of an employer's jobs page for company Web sites.

-- Allowing candidates to browse through an employer's openings for positions that meet jobseeker-specific search criteria.

-- Multiple language support with candidate accessibility for U.S. multinational and global employers.

Job candidates using the ijob service provide information such as job preferences, resumes and interview data at their convenience.
