Bull riders will take over the arena on Sept. 1. The bungee-jumping tower will let brave souls drop head first from a height of 130 feet attached by a bungee cable. Free grounds entertainment throughout the duration of the fair will include hypnotist Mark Yuzuik; an exotic-animal zoo with a baby camel, yak and kangaroo kangaroo, name for a variety of hopping marsupials, or pouched mammals, of the family Macropodidae, found in Australia, Tasmania, and New Guinea. New this fair is a pro fishing demonstration in a giant aquarium, catch-and-release fishing for youngsters and Budweiser's Clydesdale team, which will get hitched up twice a day. Lancaster resident Freddy Valentino's mules will be on display at Freddy's Camp, four covered wagons and a chuck wagon pulled into a semicircle, plus a working blacksmith. The annual Kiwanis Junior Livestock Auction will be held Aug. 29, offering cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, goats, rabbits and turkeys raised by local youngsters. The fair will open Friday with a 3:45 p.m. ceremony that includes a low- altitude pass by an F-117 stealth fighter.
