LARRY W. MALLARD NAMED CONSUMER BANK EXECUTIVE FOR NATIONSBANK FLORIDA

 TAMPA, Fla.,, Nov. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- NationsBank Florida president Adelaide A. (Alex) Sink has named Larry W. Mallard consumer bank executive for Florida, effective immediately.
 Mallard, an executive vice president, is a 20-year veteran of NationsBank and has most recently been serving as retail bank executive with NationsBank in Houston.
 "Larry's previous experience with NationsBank and his focus on customer service will enable NationsBank Florida to continue to meet complex financial needs for a diverse group of consumers," Sink said.
 Mallard's previous positions with NationsBank include serving as senior bank executive and commercial market manager in Charlotte and holding positions in the consumer, commercial and corporate banks in Baltimore and northern Virginia.
 He is a member of the board of directors for the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Gulf Coast Area, Inc., the Better Business Bureau of Houston and Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas. He also is a board member of the Houston Ballet and serves on the administrative board and finance committee at St. Luke's Methodist Church.
 Mallard, 43, will relocate to Tampa later this month.
