LARGE SCHOOLS: ROJAS LEADS ALEMANY PAST LITTLEROCK.

Billy Rojas showed off his arm -- and his feet.

Rojas passed for 165 yards, including a 28-yard touchdown to Anthony Velarde in the first quarter, and rushed for 97 yards as Alemany of Mission Hills defeated visiting Littlerock 49-18 Friday night in a nonleague football game.

Isaac Figueroa scored three touchdowns for the Warriors (3-0), who raced to a 28-0 lead.

Littlerock's Luther Dillon rushed for 143 yards, but the Lobos (0-3) were flagged for 123 yards in penalties.

Alemany took advantage of Lobos miscues from the start, driving 40 yards for its first touchdown, a 4-yard Figueroa run, after forcing a fumble on the first play from scrimmage A play from scrimmage is the activity of the games of Canadian football and American football during which one team tries to advance the ball or to score, and the other team tries to stop them or take the ball away. .

Steven Austin completed all six of his passes for 94 yards and a touchdown, connecting with Phillip Desmuke for a score.

Jonathan Bie rushed for 53yards on 13 carries for Hoover (0-3), which reached the Blair 20-yard line twice but fumbled the ball both times.
