 foreign language students are seeking community sponsors for a spring trip to France.

Anyone interested in contributing to the effort can send donations before the March 1 deadline to the high school at 10833 E. Avenue R, Littlerock, Calif. 93534.

The cost is expected to be about $1,500 for each student, according to according to
prep.

LANCASTER - The Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. It is operated by the Antelope Valley Community College District, with a primary service area of 1,945 square miles covering portions of Los Angeles and Kern counties.  dance department will present its annual "Dance Dimensions" concert Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre. , 750 W. The guest artist - and one of several choreographers for the program - will be Cindy Littlefield, a former student of AVC's dance program director Kathy Bingham, college public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  director Steve Standerfer said.

LANCASTER - Antelope Valley College is handing out registration appointments for summer school at the Student Services Center, 3041 W. Avenue K.

Telephone registration for June appointments, which determine enrollment priority for courses, is mandatory for new, returning or transfer students, Dean Patricia Hsiieh said.

Students already enrolled for spring will automatically receive a registration appointment by mail.

ROSAMOND - Hamilton Elementary School will hold kindergarten registration sessions beginning March 5 for the 1996-97 school year.

The March 5 session is set for 9 a.m. in the campus cafeteria, located at 2800 Rosamond Blvd., Principal Judy Chase said.

The March 13 registration session is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in the library, and the final sign-up day will be held March 28 at 6:30 p.m., also in the library, Chase said.

Parents should bring their child's birth certificate or other evidence of age such as a baptismal certificate or passport; proof of recent physical examination; social security number; proof of residence; and immunization immunization: see immunity; vaccination.  records, Chase said.

 Band boosters are holding a community-wide aluminum can drive and rummage sale Feb. 24 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Falcon football field on 20th Street East south of Palmdale Boulevard.

Donations can be made by dropping off cans at the Palmdale Recycling Center, located at 38022 Sierra Highway, booster President Dan Lintemoot said. Participants taking cans to the center should specify that the aluminum is for the PHS (Personal Handyphone System) A TDMA-based cellular phone system introduced in Japan in mid-1995. Operating in the 1880-1930 MHz band, PHS uses microcells that cover an area only 100 to 500 meters in diameter, resulting in lower equipment costs but requiring more base  Band Booster Orlando trip fund, he said.

An alternative way to participate in the drive would be to drop off cans in the school football field parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday; 7 to 2 p.m. Feb. 24; and between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. March 2, Lintemoot said.

The group has raised about $36,000 for the competition set for May 1 through May 5, and still needs to raise an additional $30,000 to cover such expenses as transportation, food, uniform cleaning and other costs, he said.
