LANCASTER MAN SOUGHT IN KILLING.

Prosecutors filed a first-degree murder charge Friday against a Lancaster man suspected in the shooting death of Kenneth Fenix, 39, who was shot Dec. 22 in front of his family's east Lancaster home.

, however, remains at-large. Williams, 21, of Lancaster is charged with killing Fenix in the 45400 block of Sancroft Boulevard, said sheriff's Sgt. Randy Seymour, a homicide homicide (hŏm`əsīd), in law, the taking of human life. Homicides that are neither justifiable nor excusable are considered crimes. Seymour said Williams is believed to be a member of a Lancaster gang that emulates the behavior of a Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  gang, but said it was not clear whether that was a motive for the killing.

 if that was the prime motive,'' Seymour said.

Seymour said the Fenix case remains open.

``We're still investigating whether other people were involved,'' he said.
