The ballpark has a capacity of 3,500 people and opened in 1934. .

Townsend hit two home runs off Lancaster starter Ken Cloude, who went seven innings and gave up four runs. Cloude hadn't allowed a home run on the road all year.

San Bernardino (16-9) won its season-high sixth game in a row to remain in first place in the California League's Southern Division. Lancaster (13-11) lost its fourth in a row.

Buhner hit a two-run double in the fourth inning to put Lancaster ahead 3-2, but Townsend's second home run of the game tied it 4-4 in the sixth inning.

, who hasn't pitched in a game since May 12, will travel with the Mariners to Anaheim next week and probably make an appearance for Lancaster, the team's Single-A affiliate.

    That keeps Johnson on pace for a July 28 return to the Kingdome mound against Detroit. In between his Class-A appearance and his start vs. the Tigers, Johnson will make one other minor-league appearance, on June 23, though the Mariners aren't certain where he will pitch that day.
