on Friday night. He also got the interception that clinched the Eagles' 25-17 victory over visiting Chatsworth.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Jackson grabbed a ball tipped by a Chatsworth receiver and ran it back to the Chancellors' 22-yard line. Lancaster (2-1) scored five plays later on a 3-yard pass from Pim Ennis to Wayne Ennis to take a 25-10 lead with seven minutes to play.

Jackson's rushing performance was part of Lancaster's 307 yards on the ground Friday. Josh Gaines led the team with 138 yards on 13 carries.

Jackson broke the 100-yard rushing barrier in the season opener and Gaines followed suit the next week. But they both got triple digits Friday night.

``Josh kept getting the big plays, while I just kept fighting hard to get into the end zone,'' Jackson said.
