Philip Douglas "Phil" Jackson (born September 17, 1945 in Deer Lodge, Montana) is the current coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, an American professional basketball team.
 has been offered a four-year deal worth more than $20 million to coach the Lakers, Fox Sports News reported Thursday night.

Jackson's agent, Todd Musburger Todd W. Musburger is a Chicago-based sports agent and attorney. He famously represented Phil Jackson during his championship years with the Chicago Bulls and his acrimonious negotiations with Bulls' management. , is in ``serious negotiations'' with the Lakers, Fox said. A source told the network that a deal could be completed in the next few days.
