LADY LUCK ANNOUNCES HISTORY-MAKING INDIANA PROJECT
LAWRENCEBURG, Ind., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Lady Luck Gaming Corp. announced today the formation of a joint venture partnership with Dearborn Riverboat Express Inc., a group of long-time Indiana residents who plan to build and operate a Lady Luck gaming facility in Lawrenceburg. Lawrenceburg is located in the southeast corner of Indiana, approximately 20 miles west of Cincinnati. Representing more than 200 years of Indiana history, the Riverboat Express has been exploring casino opportunities all year long. Just recently, they decided to team up with the Lady Luck Gaming Corp. to jointly develop the proposed site. "Last year, Lady Luck opened four casinos in various locations meeting our business plan objectives. In 1994, we intend to be equally as aggressive with four new casinos," says Andrew Tompkins, Lady Luck chairman. "The Lawrenceburg project emphasizes our commitment to working toward a presence in every major gaming jurisdiction in the United States." Founded in 1803, Lawrenceburg is a community rich in history. The proposed site is located along the railroad tracks that line the Ohio River levee. According to Tompkins, the city's historic integrity will be a significant part of the operation. Dearborn Riverboat Express Inc. is comprised of many well-known Indiana names and families. Partners include Robert Ewbank, a sixth- generation native of Indiana, Frank Kramer, H.E. Weller, William Ritzmann, Tom Schneider, Frank
Weismiller, Bruce Miller, Lou Broghammer, Jim Thomas, Bill Rhodenbauugh, Stan Hirsch, and Ken Nelson.

Currently, the corporation is developing several sites in emerging gaming jurisdictions including Mississippi and Missouri.
