He has brought in extra employees, nearly tripling his five-person work force, to handle the holiday rush at Bloomie's Florists.

The top seller this holiday season?

``Always roses,'' said Christensen, who runs the Lyons Avenue shop with his wife and adult daughter. ``Red is the biggest seller.'' According to according to

Christensen couldn't estimate how many flowers would be arranged and shipped from his business, only that it's many.

Christensen said he has hired about 10 more workers, including drivers, to handle the rush this St. Valentine's Day.
