LANCASTER - Easter Seals Easter Seals is an international charitable organization devoted to providing opportunities for children with physical disabilities. See

 celebrated the grand opening of the Lancaster Community Technology Center, a state-of-the-art computer lab.

The lab is open both to people with disabilities who participate in Easter Seals programs and the community at large.

It was made possible by a $10,000 donation from the Verizon Foundation and furnishings furnishings

The new technology center features three new computers, upgrades to five existing computers, a new printer and a digital camera. Five of the computers are equipped with adaptive hardware and software for use by people with disabilities.

The lab will offer free access to the Internet; a wide variety of educational and business software; recreational activities; and more.

Easter Seals is seeking computer-literate volunteers to assist the lab, located at the Easter Seals Program Office at 1146 Commerce Center Drive in Lancaster.
