LA.COMFIDENTIAL > CELEBS.When you wish (or look) upon a star Only Annie Leibovitz can turn Rachael Weisz into Snow White, tennis star Roger Federer into King Arthur, Julie Andrews into the Blue Fairy from "Pinocchio" and Abigail Breslin into Fira from "Disney Fairies." On Wednesday, Disney released three photos they commissioned from the famed photographer for its theme parks' "Year of a Million Dreams." The setting for the Weisz's transformation into the fairest of them all took place at Old Westbury Gardens, outside New York City. "I was looking for a deep, dark forest before things got really bad for Snow White," Leibovitz told USA Today. By the way, real animals wouldn't sit still -- those in the shot are stuffed. >LA.COM Bally gets the celebs' ballyhoo Vogue magazine thinks it is fabulous, Brittany Murphy loves it, and stylist-turned-author Rachel Zoe can't get enough of it. "It" is Brian Atwood's vision for Bally, a whole new look for the venerable Swiss company that began making shoes more than 200 years ago. As the company's new creative director, Atwood's designs encompass much more than footwear, so why not host a glittery party to celebrate that fact? That's just what Vogue did on Tuesday night at the Bally Rodeo Drive shop, with champagne flowing and slim women modeling Atwood's new "SS08" collection as the handsome designer greeted pals like Murphy, Zoe, the white-hot Scottish DJs-turned-models known as the Eye Candy Twins (Allister and Marc Blackham, and yes, they really are twins), and a gaggle of pretty ingenues, including Joy Bryant, Cameron Richardson, Adrienne Janic, Lily Collins and Darcy Halsey. Halsey's motive for coming to the party went beyond just drooling over the beautiful (and very expensive) clothes and shoes on display. "I'm really here because of the Environmental Media Association connection," said the pretty star of film fest favorite "All the Days Before Tomorrow." "I like the idea that Bally is giving back to them. I think it's important to support them whenever I can, since they are making such a significant difference to our world. Plus, I do love these clothes!" Halsey said with a grin. Rick and Kathy Hilton seemed to be in love with Atwood's new line, too; perhaps they were shopping for the cause (a portion of the night's proceeds went to the EMA), or maybe looking for early Christmas gifts for Paris and Nicky, their famous progeny? >JENNY PETERS/SPYWITNESS That's a lot You probably knew Paris Hilton was an expensive date -- but a million bucks? According to In Touch, the heiress has been offered more than $1 million by Las Vegas nightclub LAX to appear at a party on New Year's Eve. No word on what she's suppose to do for the payday, except, of course, bring her plastered-on smile. If the LAX people are smart, they won't let her sing. >LA.COM CAPTION(S): 5 photos Photo: (1 -- 3 -- color) Photos created by Annie Leibovitz for the Disney theme parks' "Year of a Million Dreams," from top: actress Julie Andrews as the Blue Fairy from Disney's "Pinocchio" with her apprentice fairy, portrayed by Abigail Breslin; actress Rachel Weisz as Snow White; and tennis player Roger Federer as King Arthur.
