Eagles, Chicks nest in new theater

The Eagles and Dixie Chicks will open the new New Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles Downtown Los Angeles is the central business district of Los Angeles, California, located close to the geographic center of the metropolitan area. The sprawling, multi-centered megacity is such that its downtown core is often considered just another district like Hollywood or  across from the Staples Center.

The 7,100-seat state-of-the-art theater will open Oct. 18. The Eagles and Chicks will perform Oct. 20. Tickets for the concerts will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.com or by phone at (213) 480-3232.
