Along the red carpet at the premiere of their movie, "El Cantante," on Tuesday night, they admitted that they fought for real in some scenes during the filming. "It got really intense a few times," Anthony said, laughing. "One time she was trying to push me out the door and I didn't know what was going on, so I said, 'Jennifer!' and I ruined the scene."

In front of the select crowd at the Directors Guild of America in Hollywood, where Tom Cruise and the Beckhams (Victoria and David), sneaked in at the last minute, Anthony told the audience, "This is a labor of love for us, and it's OK to laugh" and then his wife added, "Or cry." Then, he remembered that she's listed as one of the producers of the film and said, "That's right, that's my boss."

"Desperate Housewife" Eva Longoria, Ruben Blades (who wrote the song "El Cantante" for the real-life Lavoe), and the cast and crew from the film attended the premiere and then partied in the lobby of the Guild, which was redecorated into a Latin nightclub with plenty of Puerto Rican rum and food catered from Lopez's own Madre's restaurant.

Director Leon Ichaso said he almost didn't make it to the premiere because he was stopped going 80mph on Coldwater Canyon, and he tried to convince the officer that he was the guy written about in The New York New York, state, United States

Hathaway battles KAOS KAOS - Kent Applicative Operating System

Could "Get Smart's" Agent 99 be a Jane Austen heroine? Leave it to brainy brain·y

Anne Hathaway to connect the dots, albeit in a roundabout fashion:

"I grew up with 'Get Smart,' " Hathaway says. "I watched the reruns on Nick at Nite and, when I was 8, my cousin and I would take our bikes around Cape May, N.J., and pretend to beat up KAOS agents -- who were actually trees. My cousin was the first person I called when I got the part. He couldn't believe it.

"It's been a bit awkward for my family because all my uncles had crushes on Barbara Feldon. I showed them pictures of me as 99 and they said, 'It's too weird.' They don't want to go there, nor do I want them to.

"Barbara Feldon had a fascinating life. She traveled. She wrote several books, and as you'd expect, she's an elegant, smart, charming writer. She wrote a book that's a manifesto about living alone. She probably loves Austen. She certainly could have been a heroine in one of her books."
