 did not think the La Canada High girls' cross country team had much room for improvement after the Spartans' fourth-place finish in the Division IV race of the Stanford Invitational three weeks ago.

Now, the senior is wondering how much more faster her team can run after La Canada captured the Division IV sweepstakes race at the Mt. San Antonio San Antonio (săn ăntō`nēō, əntōn`), city (1990 pop. 935,933), seat of Bexar co., S central Tex., at the source of the San Antonio River; inc. 1837.  Invitational on Friday.
