Olsovsky had 25 kills; 11 of them came in the third game. ``They're stronger, taller and more powerful than us,'' said Kelly Gaudino, who finished with 12 kills to lead La Canada. ``We knew that, so we just wanted to play our hearts out. We are still glad that we had a second chance against them.'' La Canada (24-4) actually held a brief lead. The Spartans rallied to a 6-4 advantage in the first game. Bishop Montgomery coach Kim Willeman said she wasn't concerned about her team's sluggish start. ``We can be two or three points, or even seven points down, and I'm not worried,'' Willeman said. ``This team can steady itself out real quick.'' Which is what Bishop Montgomery did. The Knights closed out the first game with an 11-0 run. ``These girls are seasoned veterans,'' Willeman said. La Canada desperately tried to rally in the second game and made it mildly interesting when they closed to within 14-9. But a couple of kills from Cerina Pele, who totaled 11, and Olsovsky quickly ended the Spartans' threat. La Canada couldn't solve Bishop Montgomery's front line of Olsovsky and freshman Lauren Ervin, who had 10 kills.
