 for Legend Yacht & Beach Club as it captured eight awards for excellence from the Long Island Builders Institute, including the organization's top honor -- 2000 Luxury Community of the Year Award.

Legend Yacht & Beach Club won the 2000 Luxury Community of the Year Award as the best new community on Long Island. In addition, the club also received the Gold Award for Best Logo Design, Diamond Awards for Best Sales Center, Best Luxury Interior Home, Best Luxury Model, Best Luxury Home Design, and Best Community Brochure, and the Platinum Award for Best Color Advertising.

The prestigious awards were presented at the second annual Long Island Builders Institute award dinner in Melville, N.Y. The awards program is sponsored by the Long Island Builders Association to honor Long Island's best homebuilders. The competition was open to all homebuilders currently building, developing, and marketing new homes on Long Island. Judging was done by an independent panel of industry experts.
