"This deal would greatly increase the resources available to Rose & Kindel while still leaving the firm free to function on its own." Last week, Rose & Kindel spokeswoman Alicia Maldonado said there was no news to report and declined to elaborate. None of the sources named a potential buyer. However, word that Rose & Kindel was close to being acquired was making the rounds within the close-knit world of L.A. lobbyists. Rose & Kindel was founded in 1987 by Maureen Kindel, a confidante con·fi·dante n. 1. A woman to whom secrets or private matters are disclosed. 2.
