WINELINE.Byline: Larry Lipson There are plenty of celebrations outside France for Beaujolais Nouveau Beaujolais nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France. It is the most popular vin de primeur, fermented for just a few weeks then officially released for sale on the third Thursday of November. This fruity, young, 2002 vintage red wine from the Beaujolais area of Burgundy, France, goes well with numerous dishes, especially turkey on Thanksgiving. They'll be celebrating at the Wine Bistro, 11915 Ventura Blvd., Studio City, with the annual Beaujolais Nouveau party special menu (two courses for $23.50) of beef, salmon, duck, chicken, sole and cassoulet cas·sou·let n. To those who only like white wine with their turkey, try a viognier from California (Fess Parker makes a good one) with its perfumey nose and peach and apricot flavors.
